Make-up & Nails of the day!

Hi everyone! :D I'm back with a new post on my make up & nails of the day. My make up look was inspired by JlovesMac 1's tutorial, (I absolutely adore her she is so freaking awesome!) I thought it was fun and a great smokey eye for the daytime and one that I can wear to work. A coworker of mine actually asked what eyeshadow I used on my eyelids, (which are colors from the Sustainable Shadow Box by Urban Decay) I felt so special. :3 Teehee, ok I hope you guys like it and please excuse my silly faces :p free to comment as well.

                                                                                    Lol

All the products shown are what I've used on my face today excluding eyeshadow (which is the URBAN DECAY Sustainable Shadow Box): MAC Skinfinish Natural Powder Foundation in Dark, Mac Blush in Raizin, 15 pallete Tomtop concealers, Neutrogena firm facial mosturizer, elf eyelid primer, Maybelline eye studion gel liner,  Diamond lip gloss, 902C(Bare It All) Megalast Wet N' Wild lipstick.

                                         ~And for le nails~

I'm wearing Totally Amazing by SPOILED nail polishes as mentioned in my previous post/haul. SPOILED nail polishes is actually a newly formed company by Wet N' Wild (as shown on the bottle). I think the color is very suttle and reminds me of a pastel green I use to have by Revlon by the name of, Minted. I loved that color but unfortunately it got super thick and goopy so it had to be thrown away. This color reminds of Minted, but it's not as light as it may appear in the picture. It's more of a light olive toned green, then a minted or pastel green. It is very pretty and suttle though and I think it goes right into the pastel color trend for nails in the spring, without necessarily being a pastel. Did I mention this was only $1.99? Yes, what a steal. So far, it hasn't chipped one bit. 2 coats of this and a touch of Sally Hansen Quick Dry Top Coat (THE BEST TOP COAT IN THE WORLD) and your good. The brush is quite big and unexpected, kind of like the brush on the Sally Hansen Insta-dry nail polishes. I think the brush is great--- for people with wider and longer nails. My nails are usually quite medium to long length but I recently cutt them so the brush wasn't really my cup of tea. I think these new Spoiled Nail Polishes are great for someone on a budget and looking for great looking nails at the same time.

Till later pepz - britt xx

I'M ALIVE! & I got ice-cream, nail polish and funky button downs? :o

Hey gawjusssss pepz! I know, I know. I seriously can't believe it's been nearly 7 months since I've last made a post on here, I know that no one really looks at my blog lol (as much as I hope someone , ANYONE, is reading this haha) granted it's been a really long time. Like every blogger says, "I don't want to slack on this blog" I ended up doing so. Shame on me. (BOOO) Although, I have been having the urge to upload pictures/ post more and to just enter the blogging world again with training wheels of course lol. I have many excuses and reasons why I haven't been doing so, but let me not bore any one to death. Oh yeah, I saw the avengers yesterday! It was AWESOMEKEBNEINEEEEPEj1p9oj12j29j2. Yup, that was totally necessary. But seriously, it was awesome. It's kinda crazy too, how much me and my friends went through just to see that one movie. From Renee and John almost turning into the hulk because we got there a bit late (the movie theatre was packed as a goats ya know what by the way) and having to go through a confirmation process because we all purchased our tickets online, it was all just a mess. My two friends Rita, Kiran and I saw the movie separately from Renee and John because they ordered their tickets at an earlier timing and blah blah blah... lol long story short Me, Rita and Kiran saw the avengers at amc, our seats sucked, but the movie was great and pure genius. I really should stop talking about the movie, and Captain America was so stunning ihah2hihihs8h8s along with Thor everyone looked hot--- mkay whatevs. So today, as you all know, ok ya don't know lol, I do not own a camera other than my ipod so I hijacked my sisters digital camera and took a whole bunch of pictures to show you lovely people. I have a nail polish haul and a thrift clothing haul, I got some funky cool button downs, HOLLA! Haha ok, I also went to my aunts house today and took some pictures on my way there of the scenery outside cause it was GORGEOUS out. I don't know why I'm capitalizing some words here, I guess to emphasize and exaggerate? Lol whatever so yeah here goes nothing, I hope ya'll enjoy:

So I got these awesome China Glaze nail polishes at Sally Hansen beauty supply! It was my first time going in there as well as purchasing China Glaze nail polish lol... These were $5 each and when you buy two, you get one free! So $10 for all 3 nail polishes, pretty good deal. I really want to get more, I love the formulation of China Glaze. :)

The colors are Shower Together, Rich & Famous, and Up All Night. I get compliments on shower together a lot!

I recently I discovered a brand called SPOILED Nail polishes at Cvs and all their polishes are only $1.99 so I kind of went crazy, the funny thing is my neighborhood circular said they were on sale for $0.99 but the guy at the cashier said it's $1.99 which is already quite affordable so I just went ahead and bout them anyway :o they are such cute colors, I kind of want to buy more lighter and springy colors for the Spring & summer so yeah my nail hiatus is not over people!

The shown are Visually Slimming, Hit The Brakes, Two Weeks Sober, and Totally Amazing. :D
I'm wearing Visually Slimming on my toes now! See look: (excuse my terrible pedicure skills)

My less recent nail polish purchases are from the brands SINFUL COLORS PROFESSIONAL, NYC, & B.S.N purchased from cvs, target and the dollar store.
The colors are in: MANHATTAN 248

SCANDAL 855
ARMY RAT 10 &

AQUA 10

So that pretty much somes it all up for my purchases with nail polishes, now onto the clothing part. I was really inspired by Tyler the Creators designs at the odd future pop up shop he opened for a bit here in New York. They were quirky and different, so I went to the thrift store shortly after and picked up some inspired shirts.

I bought each clothing item from the Unique thrift store.

TRUE GRIT BUTTON DOWN - $3.00

Sorry these shirts may be kind of creased :( I didn't have time to iron them

EIGHTY-8 BUTTON DOWN $2.00

MARTINI BUTTON DOWN $2.00

POLKA DOT PALM TREE BUTTON DOWN $2.00

So that's it for my clothing haul, I also bought this rad green blazer but I didn't get a chance to take a picture of it, sorry about that. Now I'm just going to post some random pictures from my day and the gorgeous scenery.

Until next time folks! xoxo ;)
